IMPROVEMENTS
To improve the safety and efficiency of the Harpersfield Transfer Station, the Town of Harpersfield will be seal coating the parking lot and establishing a new traffic flow. In July 2025 the town will be removing concrete ramps, pouring concrete pads and maintaining the trenches for water runoff. In August 2025, we will be seal coating the parking lot. Once completed, a new traffic flow and parking areas will be introduced.
The new traffic flow will have all cars coming in on and staying to the right. You will continue to drive into the back of the parking lot and follow the traffic loop around the containers. You will park in the designated spots. Parking for the metals and C&D will be for customers dropping off those items. Backing into the building to drop off garbage will require an attendant to be present for backing in and leaving the building.
We are changing the traffic flow to keep our employees and customers safe. Please follow the new traffic flow. If you have any comments, please direct them to the Town Clerk.
